Simonetto makes all of its know-how available to designers both in terms of aesthetic finishes and in solving any technical construction problem.

Main living area

Our team took care of managing a number of elements dedicated to this intimate environment. In first place, the frames and architraves lining the openings from one area of the hall to the other, then the decorative panels with “jali” arabesque motif. All of them in Honduran Mahogany, dark stained and finished with open-grain varnish and embellished with decorative bronze trims. The hall also hosts some of our freestanding bespoke pieces, such as the TV cabinet, manufactured with high gloss varnished South American Rosewood, silver leaf decorative glasses and with white Sycamore tesserae “sunburst” motif inlayed. The door hinges customized at full height to become themselves a decorative element.

Buffet and Pantry

The showcase cabinets in South American Rosewood, dyed glossy dark with acrylic varnishes. Internally lined in suede and illuminated in each shelf with integrated lights. Customized burnished brass hardware. Our team has also been involved in coordinating the various professionals for the study, construction and on-site fitting of the decorative glasses.

Stairs and corridors

The handrails are in Honduran mahogany with a carved ribbed motif, finished with shellac varnish and left open grain. On the base of the designer’s concept, an in-depth study of the metal supports was engaged in order to find the right proportions. The study led to the development of various samples and its final prototype, necessary to proceed with the cast of the burnished brass pieces. The wall panelling in the corridor is in Honduran Mahogany, dyed in dark brown colour and finished with open-grain shellac varnish. The central panel is resulting from the insertion of a carved panel with arabesque guilloché motif.

Living room

The low panelling is in white lacquered wood, matte plaster effect, with the insertion in the central part of carved panels in arabesque motif. The TV cabinet and display cabinet are in white lacquered wood again in matte plaster effect. The inside of the display cabinet lined with Rosewood with integrated lighting and custom bronze handles. The decorative framed ceiling is made of Honduran Mahogany stained dark brown and treated open grain with shellac varnish. The freestanding bookcase has burnished brass supporting structure and decorative handles, its drawers in Rosewood, high gloss acrylic varnished.

The bathroom washbasin cabinet carved in solid Mahogany wood. The wardrobes in dark brown stained Mahogany, their doors adorned with gold leaf central panels with floral decoration. Again, a job made possible thanks to the coordination of different skilled professionals led by the designer and managed by the Simonetto team.

activities

The manufacture of decorative panels with “jali” arabesque motif, required a joint processing between the use of CNC machine and the hand of the craftsman. Simonetto always devotes much care to the choice of materials and their correct use. This is particularly true here, for instance creating the fluted motif on the curved panels. All the construction design developed in our office and related prototypes manufactured in our workshop.
