The encounter between past and present is the essence of the contemporary spirit. It is a challenge we love to take up.

Entrance
The entrance perfectly anticipates the luxurious refinement of the interiors. The lift hall features a wall clad with antique silver leaf mirror: the initial sign of a completely custom-made project. In order to be consistent with the overall image of the apartment, the entrance door is lined on the inside part with Italian Walnut.
Lounge and Dining area
The focal point of the room is the bar cabinet, winner of the Design Award in 2016. Its elegance hides an important strategic function: the coating of the building structural piping. The custom handles for doors and furniture are treated light bronze. The precious Tamo wood is a Japanese ash dyed in a warm brown-grey and high glossy varnished. The cabinet has details in light bronze and houses lacquered panels with opaque liquid metal. A composition of glass tiles is embellishing the wall backing the dining area: antique mirror tesserae made to measure under our supervision by Murano artisans and eventually assembled into prism shaped tiles by our team.
The bookcase with sliding doors is also made of Tamo wood and designed to receive inserts in opaque liquid metal. The back of the bookcase is in handmade Murano antique mirror. The home theatre features panels lined with acoustic material: thanks to our coordination work, the sound engineers were able to prepare the sound insulating parts prior to the fitting on site. A feature that makes the difference and gives an idea of the care given to the project, down to the smallest detail: one of the wall panels is a disguised pivoting door that grants access to the cinema room.
Master bedroom
The wall behind the bed hosts a dark-stained Walnut panelling with the application of a composition of leather-lined panels. The side parts accommodate panels decorated with epoxy resin, creating a recess that houses the light source. The walk-in closet is made of grey-blue dyed Walnut, with integrated LED linear lighting, completely hidden inside the shelf. In this regard, our team faced a special technical study to allow the soft diffusion of light by means of reflecting surfaces, eliminating the risk of glare.
Activities
A feature that distinguishes Simonetto expertise is the research and careful selection of all materials. Here the choice of the Japanese Tamo wood had a relevant weight, a material difficult to source with the right look and that requires vast experience in selecting the best match. The correct mix of dyes for the Walnut is the result of a custom sampling process. Our in-house manufacturing procedures allowed for the accuracy in the insertion of the metal sections, at first tested sitting properly onto the raw piece of furniture and eventually applied on site.
