Every detail of this important home dedicated to excellence through an elegant combination of different materials.
Entrance
The entrance door made of two solid leafs, having anti-intrusion steel structure clad with bronze plates and decorated with gold rosettes, to combine style and safety. The panelling is in Bird’s eye Maple wood with dark and light Rosewood inlays. The doors are in Honduras Mahogany, semi-open grain satin lacquered. The marble staircase parapet made of curved cast glass, with a polished steel handrail.
Living room
Every topic studied in detail. The doors in transparent and sandblasted glass, with custom-made handles in polished steel, elegantly reflect the decorations of the living area.
Study
The main character of the room is the imposing bookcase with glass doors and full-height panelling. In continuity with the other rooms of the house, we find again the Honduras Mahogany polished and satin finished in a semi-open grain.
Living
The majestic circular sofa wrapped in the embrace of the materials that embellish the walls. We find again Mahogany and crystal, with Bird’s eye Maple full-height panelling enriched by Rosewood inlays./span>
Dining room
The panels host real works of art: decorative panels specially conceived by the designer, who is also an artist and painted himself the panels in our workshop.
Indoor pool
These images give an idea of the size of the villa and, as a consequence, of the size of the project. The pool is directly connected to the gentlemen’s and ladies’ living rooms. Inserted in the wall made of glass blocks and leading directly to the outdoor garden, is a full-height door of four and a half meters, which we made out of steel and glass, with a Carrara white marble knob.
Activities
The Client demanded special attention to a number of details. The most important of which, was to manufacture all the furnishings with classified, fire-resistant materials. In addition to that, the processing of the materials had to be suitable for the difficult environmental conditions, very hot and dry. To meet the criteria of this construction challenge, we even resorted to the use of special fire resistant glues.
